In 70 Titus, son of emperor Vespasian, stormed the Fortress of Antonia north of the Temple Mount, Jerusalem and the Roman army was fighting in the street against the Zealots. In 1976 Viking 1 lander successfully landed on Mars. In 1999, after 38 years at the bottom of the Atlantic, astronaut Gus Grissom's Liberty Bell 7 Mercury capsule was recovered. In 2015 the United States and Cuba resumed full diplomatic relations after five decades.
