ON THIS DAY: In 37 Roman emperor Caligula accepted the titles of the Principate, entitled to him by the Senate. Yes I know it is getting quiet in here. It was a very busy weekend, even though I had an extra day, and I haven’t had a lot to say. It isn’t that I hate my birthday or that getting older bothers me – it’s just that … well when you come right down to it, as I have said before, I don’t rightly know why Spring is such a tough season for me. I stop calling folks on the phone – been thinking about how much I would like to talk to my out-of-state friend, or have dinner with someone again but I just don’t want to be reaching out right around my birthday like I am expecting something. Hopefully when the natal day has come and gone the cone of silence will lift and I will figure out what to talk about. Cause today’s quote got me to thinking, I don’t know what mysterious alchemy was in place that make friends and contacts and I sure don’t want to jeopardize the ones that I have!
Meanwhile? This Tuesday feels very much like a Monday to me….
