One of the things I would tell newbies back when I was mentoring for Linden Labs on Welcome Island was that living a 2nd life would be liberating, and that was both good and bad news. In world you had no roles and expectations when you arrived. In the real world we were daughters/sons, parents, teachers, workers, managers, volunteers, members of a church, part of a race.
