Be warned:in this very rich environment where you can immerse yourself so completely, your emotions will become engaged -- and not everyone is cognizant of that. Among the many excellent features of SL, there is no auto-return on hearts, so be wary of where your's wanders...

December 4th's question

What’s your favorite place for thinking?

My favorite thinking spot would be a quiet glade at dusk….

Yeah, you can imagine how often THAT happens, neh?  Most of my thinking seems to be done either in the shower [and apparently I am not the only one http://mentalfloss.com/article/52586/why-do-our-best-ideas-come-us-shower]  or while commuting actually [which may not be the safest time to do it even if I am not “daydreaming” https://blog.gasbuddy.com/posts/Have-you-ever-been-lost-in-thought-while-driving/1715-537036-1715.aspx].

My mind never shuts up – I have often been reduced to looking in vain for an “off” switch, especially in the wee hours of the morning – and both showering and driving [especially when commuting] tend to be routine.  No multi-tasking, no interruptions, and my mind kicks into ponder-mode.  Sometimes it is productive.  Sometimes it descends into stewing or grieving and I find that if I am going to cry my eyes out, these are the times.

Interesting question….
