Me neither)) In 1976, Howard Hughes died on an airplane, which given how much he loved flying seemed very apropos to me. Although he was the richest man in the world back in those days, he died without an heir or even a will -- his estate just seemed to disappear and it wasn’t actually settled until 2010. Disclosure: despite the fact that I am a member of the Hughes family, neither I nor any of my known relatives got one thin dime from the settlement.
