Be warned:in this very rich environment where you can immerse yourself so completely, your emotions will become engaged -- and not everyone is cognizant of that. Among the many excellent features of SL, there is no auto-return on hearts, so be wary of where your's wanders...

For those of us lucky enough to be off yesterday, it feels remarkably like Monday.  Today really is Tuesday though, and:
  • Artist as Outlaw day
  • Brew a Potion day
  • Good Memory day
  • National Popcorn day
  • New Friends day
  • Printing Ink day
  • Rid the World of Fad Diets and Gimmicks day – the latest one I have heard is something called “oil pulling”.  Apparently you swish oil around in your mouth for 20 minutes and spit it out and this leaches impurities out of your system?
  • Tenderness Toward Existence day
  • Tin Can day
  • World Day of Migrants and Refugees
I may rethink this "earliest historical event recorded" meme because I'm getting tired of reading about the Romans!  In 379, the then Emperor Gratian elevates Flavius Theodosius to Augustus, and gives him power over all the eastern provinces of the Roman Empire.  In a move that surprised no one, Theodosius then stepped in when Gratian got himself killed and became the last Emperor to rule over both the eastern and western parts of the Roman Empire.

And, just for the record,  I have NOT been one of those complaining about the unusually warm winter weather….
