I wince at you repeatedly referring to him as one of the 'cool' people. He's not cool. I doubt very much he was one of the 'cool' people in High School, though he was probably tolerated because he seems like a bully. Popular does not equate to a loss of integrity. Likewise, a lack of integrity is not an admission ticket to the popular or cool groups.
